Richard “Rick” Peters right out of high school discovered his passion in building. At the age of 19 he purchased his lot and built his first spec home. This gave Rick the vision for building and the foresight and interest in residential construction.
By 1989 Rick established Wellington Homes Inc., became the General Contractor and incorporated in 1993. This was the beginning of his highly respectable career in building upscale homes, remodel and renovations throughout the North Shore and Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.
From traditional to contemporary and “transitional”, Wellington Homes is an experienced design/builder with the expertise in custom features including smart home technology, state of the art electronics security systems, media rooms, fitness rooms and specialty in lighting control system and energy rating compliance.
With over 30 years of experience Rick has now expanded into Naples and Southwest Florida. Rick’s hands-on approach and bringing his customers visions to life has been the bedrock of his success.
